You guys surely know the story by now: Rory McIlroy sleeps through wake-up call and almost misses tee time on Sunday at the Ryder Cup, thus potentially costing Europe its victory.
He was saved by an Illinois cop in a Crown Victoria, though, who rushed him to the course with only minutes to spare before McIlroy was supposed to tee off.
Embarrassing, for sure, but also kind of funny.
And now, the infamous (or famous if you're from Europe) cop car that McIlroy rode in is for sale on eBay.
We were told this would happen at the beginning of 2013, and what better time than a week before the first major of the season?
There are still five days left in the auction, and the car is priced at only $3,250. You can bid on it here.
Like I said when this story first came out in December: I'm going to be devastated if Bubba Watson and Jason Dufner don't buy the thing and run it off a cliff into the ocean.
