Cubs pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada left Monday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers with cramping in his left deltoid muscle, the team announced.

Wada pitched a perfect first two innings before allowing a homer to Enrique Hernandez to start the third inning. After allowing a single to A.J. Ellis, Wada then left the game and was replaced by Travis Wood. Wood picked up the win and improved to 4-3 this season.

Wada does not believe the injury is anything more than a cramp, according to ESPN Chicago. He's hopeful of making his next start, which is projected for Saturday against the Cardinals.

Wada's day ended by allowing one earned run on two hits with one strikeout. Wada now has an ERA of 3.73.
