In a surprising move, Robinson Cano left the Yankees for the Mariners as a free agent this past offseason. It's not often an in-his-prime star player leaves New York, but Seattle did give him 240 million reasons to make the move.

Cano made his Cactus League debut on Thursday afternoon, ripping a single on the very first pitch he saw in a Mariners uniform:

Meaningful games are still more than a month away, but that's a solid first impression.
