Tigers first baseman Marc Krauss wasted little time making an impact with his new team Tuesday against the Mariners.
Playing in his first game since being claimed off waivers, Krauss homered during a 7-6 loss. Krauss followed Nick Castellanos' two-run homer in the second inning with a solo homer off Taijuan Walker. It was his second home run this season.
The homer was Krauss' only hit, as he struck out in his other three at-bats. He is batting .143 in 16 games between the Angels, Rays and Tigers.
