Orioles outfielder Adam Jones will replace Royals outfielder Alex Gordon in the starting lineup for the 2015 All-Star game. Gordon will miss eight weeks after suffering a groin injury Wednesday.
Jones made the All-Star team for the fifth time in his career and fourth straight season. This will be the third straight season he starts.
