Rangers pitcher Lisalverto Bonilla underwent Tommy John surgery Wednesday to repair his injured elbow, reports FOX Sports Southwest.
Bonilla, who was placed on the 60-day disabled list Saturday, has been out since spring training when he needed an injection in his elbow to alleviate pain he was feeling. He will need likely be out 12-18 months to recover from the surgery.
