The Red Sox have added outfielder Carlos Peguero to the major-league roster, the team announced Thursday. Peguero was acquired from the Rangers in exchange for cash on Wednesday.
Peguero is taking the roster spot of Daniel Nava, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list.
