Blue Jays ace Brandon Morrow is "very likely" to rejoin the team after his next rehab start Tuesday with Double-A New Hampshire, manager John Farrell told John Lott of the National Post Friday.

Morrow suffered a strained oblique during his June 12 start, lasting just nine pitches before coming out of the game. Prior to the injury, he was enjoying easily the best season of his career, with a 3.01 ERA and 3.49 FIP in 13 starts, striking out 67 batters in 77.2 innings.

The Blue Jays plan to move a starter back to the bullpen and send a reliever down to the minor leagues upon Morrow's activation, Lott adds. J.A. Happ may be the most likely candidate -- upon his acquisition the Blue Jays placed him in the bullpen before injuries pushed him into the starting rotation. Aaron Laffey or Carlos Villanueva could also be pushed back to the bullpen, where both have worked this season.
