Luis Perez has a torn UCL in his left elbow and will be out the rest of the season, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports. The injury typically leads to Tommy John surgery and could jeopardize his availability for early next season, too.
Perez was a rare bright spot in the Blue Jays' bullpen, sporting a 3.43 ERA compared to a team mark of 4.14, seventh-worst in the majors. No replacement for Perez has been named.
