Twins place Nunez on DL, recall Bernier from Triple-A

The Twins placed infielder Eduardo Nunez on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain, per MLB.com. Nunez has not been on the field since April 29. He started the season with a .409 batting average (9 for 22) with two RBI in eight games.

In a corresponding move, the club recalled Doug Bernier from Triple-A.
