In the eighth inning against the Royals Friday night, Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie got caught in an awkward position after mistiming a jump on a chopper, but he ended up making an outstanding adjustment to get the out anyway.
Witness:
Even though he put himself in that position, that showed some excellent athleticism to make that kind of a throw in mid-air. All's well that ends well, so kudos to Mr. Lawrie.
