Rays' Alexei Ramirez: Wraps up season with four-hit effort
Ramirez went 4-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and two runs in Sunday's season-ending 6-4 victory over the Rangers.
The veteran infielder closed things out on a high note, hitting .438 (7-for-16) over his last four games. It was Ramirez's fourth multi-hit effort since his first game with the Rays on Sept. 8 and he finishes the season with a .241/.277/.333 line that includes six homers and 48 RBI over 478 at-bats with San Diego and Tampa.

Ramirez has started three consecutive games, but will sit out of Thursday's contest. In his place, Brad Miller will start at shortstop and hit cleanup.

Rays' Alexei Ramirez: Powers Rays with three-run jack
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Ramirez's blast came in the fifth inning with the Rays down 2-0, turning the tide for the Rays against a Blue Jays team with a superior record. It was Ramirez's sixth homer and brought his batting average up to .241. He has 44 RBI and 34 runs scored in 431 at-bats on the year.
