Mariners' Brad Mills: Returns to Mariners on minor league pact
Mills re-signed with the Mariners on a minor league contract, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Mills pitched exclusively with Triple-A Tacoma last season, although he put up an unimpressive 5.28 ERA in nine starts with the Rainiers. Until he starts keeping runs off the board in the minors, the left-hander will likely act as organizational pitching depth.

Mills is experiencing shoulder soreness and will see a doctor Saturday, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.
He is in camp as a non-roster invitee and has yet to pitch, so it's looking like he is a long shot to make the team. If the shoulder checks out, Mills will likely head to Triple-A to serve as organizational depth.
