Giants' Kraig Sitton: Inks minor league deal with Giants
Sitton signed a minor league contract with the Giants on Monday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Sitton spent time with the Double-A and Triple-A affiliates of the Mariners in 2016, producing a 2.41 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 52.1 innings between the two levels. The 28-year-old seems to be in an organizational depth position for the time being, although he could move into a LOOGY role at the major league level if injuries strike San Francisco's bullpen.
