Angels' BJ Boyd: Joins Angels on minor-league deal
Boyd signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Friday.
Boyd spent the 2021 season in the Twins organization and slashed .291/.349/.484 with 16 home runs, 73 RBI, 67 runs and 11 stolen bases over 92 games between the Double-A and Triple-A levels. He began the 2022 campaign with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a partner league of MLB. However, he'll now attempt to carve out a role with one of the Angels' minor-league affiliates.
