Dana White is getting ready to close the book on the Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather superfight. The UFC president said on Thursday that he is giving it until Sunday to get McGregor's side of the deal done. If not, he's moving on.

"I plan on having this thing locked up by this Sunday and then moving on to Team Mayweather and starting a negotiation with them," White said Thursday on the Jim Rome show. "If we really do get it done in that time frame, then this thing could possibly happen.

"But again, I still need to go negotiate with [Mayweather's team]. There's no guarantee that we're going to come to a deal."

McGregor and Mayweather have teased for months about making this fight happen with both wanting to be the A-side of the deal. White said last month he thinks each fighter stands to make over $75 million if they get it done. But, he's also tired of the back-and-forth nature of these negotiations.

"I just can't keep messing with this thing," White said. "I need to run my business, and I have to focus on all the other things that are going on around here."

At some point for it to be real, there does need to be a deadline, which I totally understand from White. But at the same time, this fight would trounce any PPV he puts on this year from a financial standpoint. I get wanting to have this negotiation done by the end of the year, but, there's too much money for this thing not to happen.
