Daniel Cormier will not fight at UFC 2o6 in December, according to MMAFighting.com.

The UFC light heavyweight champion is out of his rematch with Anthony "Rumble" Johnson after suffering an injury in training camp, according to the report. The two were set to headline the PPV event in Toronto on Dec. 10, but will now need a replacement.

This is the second time this year that Cormier has had to back out of a fight because of an injury in training camp. He was expected to fight Jon Jones in Jones' return to the octagon in April. Instead, Jones took on Ovince Saint Preux and won the interim light heavyweight title by unanimous decision.

Cormier was then expected to battle Jones at UFC 200 to unify the light heavyweight belts, but a positive test for a banned substance forced Jones out of action just three days before the event. Cormier would go on to defeat Anderson Silva by unanimous decision in July.

Since beating Johnson at UFC 187 in May 2015 to claim the belt, Cormier has defended his title only one time -- topping Alexander Gustafsson by split decision.
