It is sounding more and more like UFC 206 has some sort of hex on it. The card slated for Saturday night in Toronto, Canada has been plagued by misgivings and issues for the last couple of weeks. The latest came on Friday morning during fighter weigh-ins when main event fighter Anthony Pettis missed weight by three pounds for his scheduled interim featherweight title fight against Max Holloway.

Pettis is the first fighter to miss weight in a championship fight since 2007, according to MMAJunkie.

According to president Dana White, the title fight will still go on with Pettis conceding 20 percent of his base salary to Holloway. But, this is the best part. If Holloway wins, he will take the featherweight crown. If Pettis wins, he won't.

So the interim featherweight title is still on the line, kinda.

All of this comes after light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was scheduled to take on Anthony "Rumble" Johnson for the belt, but Cormier suffered a groin injury and was forced to pull out of the event.

Then, in need of a title fight for the pay-per-view, UFC elevated Jose Aldo to full time featherweight champ to make Pettis-Holloway for the interim tag all while stripping Conor McGregor of his 145-pound belt -- a belt he never defended.

While he may not have defended it, McGregor was still the first person to hold two UFC titles simultaneously in two weightclasses.
