Conor McGregor has conquered pretty much every challenge put in front of him in UFC competition to this point, so he's turning his attention to the world of TV.

Dana White confirmed to FS1's Fox Sports Live earlier this week that McGregor will be making an appearance in some fashion on HBO's hit TV show Game of Thrones.

"I knew that a few months ago they were interested in putting him in the show and I'm glad he did it," White said. "It'll be great. The show's huge, it's awesome and I'm excited for him."

What McGregor's role is in the show is unknown, but hopefully he fights someone in some capacity. As for his status in UFC, McGregor has to feel a bit of vindication after White stripped him of his featherweight title to create an interim bout at UFC 206, only to see one of his fighters fail to make weight for the main event.
