We are in the midst of a great stretch of weekends with fights every Saturday. Last weekend kicked things off with UFC 202 when Conor McGregor outlasted Nate Diaz to win the rematch by majority decision. Now, we have eight more weekends in a row with big fights.

This week, it's a major showdown in the welterweight division with Carlos Condit squaring off with veteran Demian Maia. Condit is coming off a split decision loss for the title against ex-champ Robbie Lawler. Meanwhile, Maia has won five straight bouts and is looking to get a shot at new champion Tyron Woodley.

This matchup is about as even as it gets with Condit a small favorite at -120 with Maia at +100. Here's a full breakdown of the fight card for Saturday with updated odds from UFC.com.

Anthony Pettis (-175)Charles Oliveira (+205)Featherweight
Paige VanZant (-175)Bec Rawlings (+205)Strawweight
Joe Lauzon (-14o)Jim Miller (+12o)Lightweight

Main event prediction:
If Condit is able to keep the fight standing up and avoid Maia's championship-level ground game, he is going to have the advantage. Condit needs to utilize his strong clinch and striking game to earn the win in this one, but remember that Maia has only been knocked out one time in his storied career. It's going to be a struggle, but I think Condit comes out on top in this one. Condit by split decision.
