76ers' Covington will start in place of Richardson (rest) on Tuesday

The 76ers will hold guard Jason Richardson out of Tuesday's contest at Sacramento to rest so he can play in Wednesday's game, reports the team's official website.

With Richardson out of the lineup, forward Robert Covington will start in his place. In 58 games, Covington is averaging 12.7 points and 4.6 rebounds.

The 76ers are 8 1/2-point underdogs.
