Contract talks between the Knicks and point guard Alexey Shved have broken down, with the player's agent saying he will return to Europe if he doesn't get a better contract offer from the team, per the New York Post.
Shved has declined three previous offers from the Knicks, to whom he was traded to by the Rockets during last season. He averaged 14.0 points in 17 games before being sidelined with a season-ending rib injury.
"We didn't get to the right number with the Knicks," said Obrad Fimic, Shved/s agent. "Maybe next season. We are considering a return to Europe where we have two huge offers."
