Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash will play Saturday night in Sacramento as the Lakers look to regain possession of the eighth seed in the NBA Western Conference.

Bryant was diagnosed with a bone spur in his left foot last week after a loss to Milwaukee. Nash missed the fourth quarter vs. the Bucks with a hip injury.

The Lakers already lost Metta World Peace for six weeks last week after he required surgery to repair a torn meniscus. The list of injuries for the Lakers has been fairly prolific this season and has contributed to the overall turmoil on the team.

L.A. sits tied with the Jazz entering Saturday night. The Jazz will host a Brooklyn Nets team on the second night of a back-to-back playing the seventh of eight consecutive road games. Utah holds the tiebreaker over the Lakers based on head-to-head matchup.
