Even in retirement, Kobe Bryant is still winning awards.
Adding yet another award to his cluttered mantle, Bryant received the distinguished Legend Award at the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports Awards on Thursday night. But that's not all Bryant received.
Moments after giving a motivational speech that urged the young crowd to believe in themselves and follow their dreams, Bryant was sprayed with gallons upon gallons of slime. Sliming someone of Bryant's stature may be seen as a faux pas but Nickelodeon truly honored the Lakers great as they used the more prestigious gold slime on him instead of the traditional green slime.
While getting slimed seems like a truly messy affair, after winning five NBA championships, two NBA Finals MVPs and one regular season MVP award, Bryant is well versed in all things gold.
