Last week, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant left the Lakers to travel to Germany for a platelet-rich plasma therapy treatment on his knees. Monday night, Bryant sent a photo of the procedure to his Instagram account:

The odds have become worse and worse that Bryant returns for the season opener, three weeks from Tuesday night. He has already been recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered last spring, and now has had the knee procedure done. At the same time, he procedure is non-invasive and shouldn't impact his return time, beyond compromising his recovery process for the Achilles.

Bryant averaged 27 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Lakers last season.
