It seems the court of popular opinion is anti-sleeved jerseys in the NBA. But the league is pushing them hard, with all 10 teams wearing them on Christmas.

One of those are the Miami Heat. And you can count LeBron James as one of the many that isn't a fan. It isn't an opinion of fashion either. LeBron is worried the sleeves are going to be uncomfortable for the team's shooters. Via the Miami Herald:

LeBron said in pregame that the Heat’s shooters “are already upset about” the Christmas jerseys.

LEBRON: “I can’t have my shooters out there worrying about some sleeves and not shooting the ball.”

So far, there haven't been many complaints about the sleeves getting in the way for players. The Warriors, who have worn them multiple times and have multiple shooters, seem to have performed fine in them.

Still, players are used to wearing NBA jerseys and with those they have no sleeves. And you don't want anything getting in a shooter's head, even if it's imagined.
