Apparently, the entire roster of Team USA thoroughly enjoys Vanessa Carlton's catchy hit A Thousand Miles.

Everyone except Carmelo Anthony, or so it seems.

Anthony was the lone player not joining the chorus of voices singing along on the song on a recent plane trip, which prompted Carlton to tweet at the Knicks star. But Anthony was not being callous toward Callous by not singing. It was just simply too early in the morning for him as he told NBA TV's Jared Greenberg after Team USA's dominant victory over Nigeria on Monday.

"They know I don't like early mornings," Anthony said "That was Jimmy's [Butler] playlist, I'm taking the speakers back from him. No more music. I actually like that song though. I love the movie, you know White Chicks, but they got me early in the morning, I'm sorry Vanessa, I apologize."

Anthony is referencing the scene in White Chicks where Terry Crews' character sings along to the song. And while it is funny that Anthony thinks about that movie when Thousand Miles comes up, he did actually apologize to Carlton so perhaps he truly is being sincere about his love for the song.
