The Nets have a 15th man.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Brooklyn Nets have agreed in principle to a contract with forward Donte Greene. That brings their roster to a full 15 players.

Greene, 24, has spent the last four seasons with the Sacramento Kings showing flashes of ability but mostly finding time on the bench. He's a rangy 6-11 small forward with serious athleticism, but he's an inconsistent shooter, lacks strength and has seemed to have trouble finding a place on the floor.

With the Nets already pretty stacked at small forward, Greene is likely set to be bench fodder for coach Avery Johnson to use in case of emergency. The Nets have Gerald Wallace and newly signed Milos Teletovic already in place. But Greene has always had potential and at just 24, maybe a new environment could benefit him.

Last season with the Kings he averaged 5.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game in 53 appearances.
