So it's not Ray Allen, but it's a shooting guard that is returning to the Celtics.

According to WEEI, Keyon Dooling has agreed to a one-year deal to return to Boston. Dooling, 32, played last season with the Celtics appearing in 46 games while averaging 4.0 points per game.

After losing Allen to Miami, the Celtics saw their backcourt get a little thinner. They added Jason Terry and Courtney Lee, but Dooling is another body to put on the bench in case of emergency. He played sparingly for Doc Rivers last season and that will likely be his role once again.
