Report: Tony Allen's suspension from Grizzlies was due to confrontation

Grizzlies guard Tony Allen served a one-game suspension Tuesday because of a heated confrontation he had with teammate Nick Calathes during a team practice, sources told ESPN.

While the altercation was not physical, Allen's suspension was because Allen waved off coaches who were trying to calm him down after the confrontation.

With the suspension over, Allen will return to the lineup for Wednesday's game at Houston. The Grizzlies are 3 1/2-point underdogs.
