Looking like a contract, how you?

The New Orleans Hornets and unrestricted free agent guard Roger Mason have reportedly agreed to terms on a contract, according to Yahoo Sports and the Washington Post. Terms of the agreement are not yet known.

Mason, 31, spent the 2011-12 season with the Washington Wizards, where he posted averages of 5.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. His 8-year NBA career has included stops with the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, the Wizards, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Knicks.

Mason serves as a vice president for the National Basketball Players Association and was a key figure during the negotiations surrounding the NBA's lockout and new collective bargaining agreement last season.

He joins a Hornets backcourt that includes Eric Gordon, 2012 Lottery pick Austin Rivers, Greivis Vasquez and Xavier Henry
