The Los Angeles Lakers are in for a rough season with their current roster because it's just not good enough to compete in the loaded Western Conference for a playoff spot. There are probably at least 10 teams definitely ahead of them at minimum. However, even if this Lakers team isn't playoff bound this season, we could end up seeing an incredibly entertaining squad simply because of No. 24 in uniform.

In a preseason victory over the Denver Nuggets, Kobe Bryant scored 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting and had five assists in 21 minutes of action. As you can see in the video above, Bryant looks pretty sharp after missing so much time last season due to his Achilles' injury from April 2013 and his knee fracture he dealt with after six games back in 2013-14.

He showed off the arsenal with drives to the hoop and his punishing post game against defenders like Arron Afflalo and Randy Foye. The footwork was crisp. The strength in his legs was there to get the proper lift for his jumper. And he was making a concerted effort to get his teammates involved.
