After finishing second in MVP voting and making the All-NBA First Team last year, Houston Rockets star James Harden saw his stock drop considerable this season. Harden was not among the list of 15 players to receive All-NBA honors, and he finished near the bottom of the MVP voting a season after leading his squad to the Western Conference finals in 2015.

Harden and the Rockets will look to bounce back next season under the guidance of new head coach Mike D'Antoni, though it appears as if the All-Star guard has gotten a head start to his offseason training.

In a series of commercials for Trolli, the sour gummy candy company, Harden shows off some of his offensive skills in three old-school, 80's inspired ads. His "coach" is quite the amusing character and helps Harden show off the hook shot:

The slam dunk:

And a good ol' fashioned layup:

These ads are somewhat similar to San Antonio Spurs reserve Matt Bonner's iconic "Coach B" skits but are still quite humorous. Harden is sponsored by Trolli and even has his own version of the sour candy, which we can only hope he included in a welcome basket for D'Antoni.

James Harden is quite the entertainer. (USATSI)
