Kelly Oubre Jr. was ejected from Game 3 of Wizards-Celtics after he chased down Kelly Olynyk and forearm shoved him to the ground. A fight almost broke out, but coaches and refs broke it up immediately. After things had calmed down they reviewed the play and ejected Oubre while giving Olynyk an offensive foul.

John Wall finished with a game-high 24 points to lead six players in double figures as Washington rolled in a 116-89 victory. The win trimmed Boston's series lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals to 2-1.

Violence is never okay, but it's not hard to see why Oubre would be furious with Olynyk following a play like this. The screen he set was high and arguably dirty. He clearly made contact with his head and considering the bad blood between these two teams it makes sense that Oubre would assume the worst.

Even so, chasing someone down the court and giving them a forearm shove is not okay in any situation. Oubre's frustration is justified, but he has to let cooler heads prevail there and not allow himself to be ejected. He can't help the Wizards much from the locker room while Olynyk is still playing.

This is a bad reputation that Olynyk is earning for himself across the NBA. He's been involved in a lot of altercations that have led the dirty-player label to start getting thrown around. If he continues committing high screens like this one he's not going to do himself any favors when it comes to shedding that label.
