Derrick Williams: Heading overseas
Williams has agreed to join Bayern Munich, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports.
Williams only played two NBA games last year for the Lakers, totaling two points and one rebound in nine minutes. He's seen his playing time fall each season since his second year in the league, and things have ultimately reached a breaking point with him signing overseas. It's still possible he attempts an NBA comeback considering he's entering his age 27 season.

Derrick Williams: 10-day contract expires
Williams' 10-contract has expired and the Lakers will not look to re-sign him, Bill Oram of the Orange County Register reports.
Williams inked a contract with the Lakers in early March, but ended up seeing action in just one of five games he was available for. The Lakers will now appartently look elsewhere to fill their final roster spot, which sends Williams back to the free agent market. He could head to the G-League in an attempt to drum up interest elsewhere in the NBA for those in need of depth at the forward positions.

Lakers' Derrick Williams: Will sign with Lakers
Williams will sign a 10-day contract with the Lakers on Friday, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
Williams is still only 26 years old, and it's entirely possible for him to play well enough for the Lakers to ultimately retain his rights for the remainder of the season. However, when it comes to adding him as a late-season flyer, it's probably best to wait and see how he performs before adding him off the waiver wire. This is especially true with Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma fully healthy.

Lakers' Derrick Williams: Available, unlikely to be used Friday
Williams will be available for Friday's game against the Nuggets but is unlikely to see the floor, Harrison Wind of BSNDenver.com reports.
Williams, who is 26 years old, signed a 10-day deal with the Lakers on Friday. It's unclear at the moment what his role will be, but it's probably worth holding off from adding him on the waiver wire until he sees the floor. Even still, there's far from a guarantee he'll end up making the roster for the remainder of the season.

Williams has signed a contract to play with the Tianjin Gold Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, Don McCormack of AmicoHoops.net reports.
After an eight year career with five teams in the NBA, Williams will take his talents to China. The No. 2 pick in the 2011 draft averaged 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds across 20.8 minutes throughout his career.
