Quincy Acy: Exits G League
Acy agreed Saturday with the G League's Texas Legends on a buyout of his contract, Adam Johnson of 2Ways10Days.com reports.
Acy had rejoined the Legends after his 10-day contract with the Suns expired in late January. There haven't been any reports suggesting Acy is in line to sign with another NBA team, so he'll presumably sit out the remainder of the season or pursue opportunities overseas.

Quincy Acy: Not retained by Phoenix
The Suns elected not to re-sign Acy after his second 0-day contract expired Sunday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Instead, Phoenix inked undrafted rookie Emanuel Terry to a 10-day deal prior to Sunday's 116-102 loss to the Lakers, with the big man making his NBA debut as the team's third-string center. Acy didn't make much of an impact during his nearly three-week stint with Phoenix, averaging 1.7 points (on 22.2 percent shooting from the field), 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.1 minutes per game across 10 outings.

Suns' Quincy Acy: Solid line in Sunday's loss
Acy accumulated eight points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, three blocks, and one rebound in 19 minutes during Sunday's 116-114 loss to the Timberwolves.
Acy matched his career high in blocks while filling up the stat sheet and earning double-digit minutes for the first time through seven appearances this season. The 28-year-old forward is probably only worth targeting in the deepest formats or as a dart throw in daily leagues.

Suns' Quincy Acy: Earns second 10-day deal
Acy inked a second 10-day contract on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Acy made his Suns debut Jan. 8 against the Kings and, since then, has totaled one point, one rebound and one steal across 35 minutes. Despite the lack of box score stats, Phoenix seems to be satisfied with his overall contributions, bringing him back for another 10 days.

Suns' Quincy Acy: Immediately cracks rotation
Acy made his Suns debut in the team's 115-111 win over the Kings on Tuesday, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and four fouls in eight minutes.
Given that Acy had just signed a 10-day contract with the Suns on Monday, it was somewhat surprising that he was included in the rotation right away, with the forward even logging run in a competitive fourth quarter. Acy made no statistical impact during his time on the court, however, and could see his minutes dry up entirely once the Phoenix roster is at full strength when Devin Booker (back) returns to action.

Suns' Quincy Acy: Officially signed
Acy has officially signed with the Suns on Monday.
It was reported earlier that Acy was expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Suns and it's now official. Phoenix has been looking to add frontcourt depth and/or veteran leadership and Acy fits the mold perfectly. If the former Baylor forward performs well during the next 10 days, there's a good chance Phoenix will sign him for the rest of the season.

Quincy Acy: 10-day deal expected from Suns
Acy is expected to sign with the Suns on a 10-day contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
It appears Phoenix is looking for some frontcourt depth and/or veteran leadership. Acy, who is in his age 27 season, appeared in 70 games for the Nets last season. Notably, he shot 34.9 percent from deep on 4.2 attempts per game across 19.4 minutes. He would probably have a similar, if not reduced, role with the Suns.

Quincy Acy: Has rights renounced by Brooklyn
Acy had his free agent rights renounced by the Nets on Saturday, Keith Smith of RealGM reports.
The Nets, in the wake of a rebuild, have chosen to move on from Acy, who is 27 years old. He saw 19.4 minutes per game last season, averaging 5.9 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 34.9 percent from beyond the arc. It seems unlikely he'll garner more than a depth role elsewhere.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Decent season across 70 games
Acy mustered 5.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists across 70 games played with the Nets during the 2017-18 season.
Acy's production was similar to his career stats, as he was a consistent single-digit scorer and rebounder for most games in 2017-18. The former second-round pick did though pour in a season-high 21 points on Apr. 7 at Chicago. Acy is set to become a free agent this July.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Catchers fire from field Saturday
Acy provided 21 points (7-14 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes in Saturday's 124-96 win over the Bulls.
Acy's scoring total and number of made three-pointers were both career highs, as he spearheaded a franchise-record 24 made threes for the Nets. The floor-spacing big man simply kept chucking away, taking just one shot from in front of the arc. It was Acy's first double-digit scoring effort in four April games, and he encouragingly logged over 20 minutes for the third straight contest. Acy has proven to be an excellent three-pointer shooter overall this season -- as evidenced by his 52.2 percent success rate from distance -- but Saturday's usage level from deep was completely unprecedented.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Scores nine points in Wednesday's loss
Acy supplied nine points (3-6 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 111-105 loss to the Hornets.
Acy filled up the stat sheet despite earning the least amount of playing time among the nine Nets who saw the floor. He has combined to play 45 minutes over the last two games, this after an eight-game in stretch in which he failed to log 20 minutes once. The 27-year-old forward will likely continue to lose out on some opportunities to the team's younger players over the final 10 regular season games, but Acy remains a hard-working glue guy capable of cobbling together a decent line in fairly limited minutes.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Headed back to bench role
Acy will shift back to a bench role for Thursday's game against the Hornets, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) out, Acy had picked up a few starts prior to the All-Star break. While Hollis-Jefferson remains sidelined, the Nets are going with a small lineup that features Spencer Dinwiddie, D'Angelo Russell, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll and Jarrett Allen. That sends Acy to the bench and could mean a few less minutes. Acy averaged just 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals in his last three games despite getting a starter's workload, so his demotion should knock him off the fantasy radar for most leagues.

Acy accounted for eight points (3-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists, three steals, and one block in 31 minutes during Monday's 114-101 loss to the Clippers.
Acy drew the start with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Caris LeVert (knee) sidelined through the All-Star break, while Joe Harris shifted back to a reserve role. Acy's ability to cover multiple positions and adapt offensively has helped him put together some solid showings lately, and he followed up Saturday's career high in minutes (40 versus the Pelicans) by handing out a career high in assists and matching his career high in steals in this one. Expect Acy to once again see ample playing time in Wednesday's matchup against the Pacers.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Will return to starting five Monday
Acy will start at power forward for Monday's game against the Clippers.
With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) out the last few weeks, the Nets have occasionally changed up their lineup depending on the opposing matchup. After going small the last three outings, they'll go back to a bigger lineup that features DeMarre Carroll, Acy and Jarrett Allen in the frontcourt which sends Joe Harris back to a bench role. Acy logged a whopping 40 minutes Saturday against the Pelicans and while it may not be wise to expect that sort of workload, he still should see added minutes over the last few games prior to the All-Star break with Hollis-Jefferson still out.

Acy (finger) will be available Saturday against the Pelicans, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.
Acy is cleared to play after missing the past two games due to a sprained finger on his right hand. With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) ruled out of the game, there's a good chance Acy will return to the starting lineup. In the five games Acy has taken over as starter for Hollis-Jefferson, he has averaged 4.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks in just over 24 minutes per contest.

Nets' Quincy Acy: Ruled out Wednesday
Acy (finger) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Acy is set to miss a second consecutive game, as he continues to deal with a sprained finger on his right hand. With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) also sidelined, the Nets are going to be a bit shorthanded in the frontcourt. In Monday's contest, they turned to a smaller lineup that featured DeMarre Carroll (30 minutes) at power forward and Joe Harris (28 minutes) at small forward, though it's unclear if that's the lineup that will be used once again. Jahlil Okafor was one of the main beneficiaries as well, as he logged 25 minutes off the bench and should see an increased workload once again.
