Lamar Patterson: Waived by Hawks
Patterson will be waived by the Hawks on Sunday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Patterson and the Hawks are reportedly agreeing to a mutual parting of ways, as Patterson is currently working through a personal issue. It's particularly concerning considering the fact that the Hawks signed him for the rest of the season just last week, so it remains to be seen how long this personal issue will keep Patterson away from the game. Once everything is sorted out, Patterson will likely head to the D-League to restore his value unless another NBA team comes calling right away.

Lamar Patterson: Signs with Atlanta for rest of season
Patterson has signed a deal with the Hawks for the remainder of the season, Chris Vivlamore of AJC.com reports.
The Hawks initially held off retaining Patterson to keep a roster spot open for the trade deadline. Now that the deadline has passed and the team has an open spot on the roster, they've decided to sign Patterson for the remainder of the year. He's made four appearances with the Hawks this season, only seeing 7.5 minutes per game, so he'll likely remain largely irrelevant in the majority of fantasy circles.

Hawks' Lamar Patterson: Second 10-day deal expires
Patterson's second 10-day contract with the Hawks expired over the All-Star break, and he wasn't re-signed by the team, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
With the trade deadline approaching Thursday, the Hawks decided that having an extra roster spot open was more important than retaining Patterson for the time being. The swingman has since returned to the D-League's Reno Bighorns, but once the dust settles after the deadline, coach Mike Budenholzer didn't rule out the possibility for bringing Patterson back on the roster. He averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game in four appearances with the Hawks.

Hawks' Lamar Patterson: Inks second 10-day deal with Atlanta
Patterson signed a second 10-day contract with the Hawks on Wednesday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Following an impressive showing in the D-League with the Reno Bighorns, Patterson, who played 35 games for the Hawks as a rookie in 2015-16, re-signed with the team on a 10-day deal back on Jan. 29. He ended up appearing in three games during his stint with the club, and though he averaged just 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.7 minutes per contest, he apparently showed the Hawks enough to warrant another 10-day pact. The new contract will keep him with the Hawks until Feb. 17 before the team would have to decide whether to sign him for the rest of the season or drop him from the 15-man roster.

Patterson was waived by the Kings on Wednesday, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.
Patterson was with the Hawks last season, often moving back and forth between the D-League and the Hawks' roster. He was claimed off waivers by the Kings in July, but was unable to make enough of an impression on the coaching staff to earn a spot on the regular season roster. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere, but if all else fails, Patterson is a candidate to return to the D-League for further development.

Patterson was claimed off waivers Thursday by the Kings, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Patterson was released by the Hawks after not being seen as a fit on their roster in his rookie season, and now the shooting guard will join a fairly crowded Sacramento backcourt till at least training camp. With the likes of Arron Afflalo, Ben Mclemore and rookie Malachi Richardson all in place at the shooting guard position, there's a good chance Patterson's stay in Sacramento could be a short one.

Lamar Patterson: Waived by Hawks
Patterson was waived by the Hawks Tuesday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Patterson moved back and forth between the D-League and NBA for the entire 2015-16 season, and when he was playing with the Hawks, he was buried in the rotation and never saw the floor. Atlanta could no longer afford to keep the guard on their roster and he will now be looking for work this offseason.

Patterson will be recalled from the D-League's Austin Spurs and rejoin the Hawks in advance of Friday's Game 3 tilt with the Celtics, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Both Patterson and Walter Tavares had been shuttling between the Hawks and Austin while both teams competed in the postseason for their respective leagues. With Austin being eliminated with a loss Wednesday, Patterson now figures to stick with the Hawks for the rest of the season. However, he's buried on the depth chart and likely won't see much court time during the Hawks' playoff run.

Patterson was able to get on the court for one minute during the Hawks' blowout win in Game 2 over the Celtics, but he'll be asked to assume more playing time for Austin in their D-League playoff series. With Tim Hardaway dealing with a strained right hamstring, the Hawks wanted some extra insurance in the backcourt and will recall Patterson to fill that role in their playoff debut on Saturday. Even if Hardaway has to sit out, Patterson will still only serve as emergency depth and likely wouldn't see extended playing time.

Patterson will remain with the Austin Toros during the D-League playoffs, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Both Patterson and center Walter Tavares will stay with Austin for as long as the team is alive in the D-League postseason, which kicks off Tuesday. The playoffs consist of three rounds with each a best-of-three series, so at the minimum, both players will remain away from the Hawks for at least another week-and-a-half.
