Trail Blazers' Kyle Wiltjer: Will play summer league with Portland
Wiltjer will join the Blazers' summer league entry, the Spokesman-Review reports.
The Portland native spent time with the Clippers' summer league team last summer and secured a training camp invite with the Raptors before being waived prior to the regular season. Wiltjer went on to spend most of the year with Olympiacos in Greece, where he averaged 7.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in less than 15 minutes per game. Two seasons ago, Wiltjer saw limited action for the Rockets, but his NBA future hit a bit of a snag when he was included as salary filler in the Chris Paul trade.

Raptors' Kyle Wiltjer: Signs with Raptors' G-League affiliate
Wiltjer signed a contract with the Raptors' G-League affiliate, the Raptors 905, Saturday, Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic reports.
Wiltjer was cut earlier in the month by the Raptors while he was on a non-guaranteed training camp deal. It seems the team still believes he has some potential, however, after he posted 20.5 points per game in the G-League last year.

Wiltjer was cut by the Raptors on Saturday.
Wiltjer played just 44 minutes in the NBA with the Rockets last season, so this news isn't too surprising. He was an excellent G-League player, however, posting 20.5 points and 6.4 boards per game while hitting 37.7 percent of his looks from deep. He'll seemingly continue looking for work with other franchises.

Raptors' Kyle Wiltjer: Signs one-year deal with Raptors
Wiltjer agreed to a one-year, $1.3 million non-guaranteed deal with the Raptors on Tuesday, Oliver Maroney and Robby Kalland of Uproxx.com reports.
In signing the non-guaranteed deal, Wiltjer will compete for a job on the Raptors' 15-man roster. Last season, he played for the Rockets, though a significant chunk in the D-League, after going undrafted out of Gonzaga. He played just 44 minutes in the NBA. In the D-League, however, he posted 20.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 37.7 percent from deep. At 6-foot-10, he has the mold of a stretch-four.

Kyle Wiltjer: Waived by Clippers
Wiltjer, who was dealt to the Clippers in the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Rockets, was released by Los Angeles on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
Wiltjer spent most of last season bouncing between the D-League and the NBA and saw just 43 minutes with the Rockets last year, totaling 13 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block. He impressed in the D-League, however, posting 20.5 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 37.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Clippers' Kyle Wiltjer: Dealt to Clippers
Wiltjer was traded from the Rockets to the Clippers on Wednesday as part of the deal that sent Chris Paul to Houston, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.
Wiltjer, who spent most of last season bouncing between the D-League and the NBA, saw just 43 minutes of action with the Rockets, totaling 13 points, 10 boards, three steals, two assists and a block. That said, he averaged an impressive 20.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 37.7 percent from three in the D-League. It's unclear at this time whether or not he'll be retained by the Clippers, or if his presence in the deal is simply as a trade chip.

Wiltjer was assigned Sunday to the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Wiltjer continues to battle with the Vipers in the D-League's Western Conference Finals, so look for him to move between the two rosters until the Vipers are bounced from the playoffs. He'll likely be recalled following Sunday's contest with the hope of being available for the Rockets matchup against the Thunder on Tuesday, although Wiltjer is not expected to be a part of the big club's playoff rotation.

Wiltjer has averaged over 20 points per game in the D-League this term, but considering that production has translated to merely 14 NBA appearances, it's rather doubtful he plays a role in Houston's playoff opener Sunday night.

The Vipers are heading into the their own Western Conference Finals and will face the Oklahoma City Blue on Thursday in the series opener. Wiltjer has played a prominent role for the Vipers this season, averaging 20.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 35.8 minutes. However, with the Rockets heading into the postseason themselves, they'll likely shrink their rotation even further, leaving Wiltjer on the outside looking in to the team's regular rotation once recalled.

Wiltjer was recalled from the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Tuesday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Wiltjer heads back to Houston after helping the Vipers advanced to the second round of the D-League playoffs over the weekend. Look for the rookie to rejoin the Vipers once their second-round series against the Oklahoma City Blue begins. He may also see some action in Houston's regular season finale against the Timberwolves on Wednesday but shouldn't play a major role in the rotation once the playoffs begin.

Wiltjer was recalled from the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.
Wiltjer made the trip down to southern Texas to take part in Game 1 of the Vipers' first-round D-League playoff series with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. The rookie forward contributed 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes during the victory. He'll rejoin the Rockets for Friday's game against the Pistons, but isn't expected to crack the rotation.
