Earl Barron: Signs with Japanese team
Barron signed a one-year contract Saturday with Toyama Grouses of the Basketball Japan League, the Japan Times reports.
The 35-year-old Barron has logged 140 career appearances at the NBA level with the Heat, Knicks, Suns, Bucks, Trail Blazers, Warriors, Wizards and Suns, last appearing in the league during the 2014-15 campaign. Given his age, it's likely that Barron will wind his career down overseas before heading into retirement.

Earl Barron: Waived by Atlanta Saturday
Barron was waived by Atlanta Saturday, Chris Vivlamore of AJC.com reports.
Barron played 16 games for the Suns last season, averaging 2.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.1 blocks in 8.9 minutes per game. The center played 29 minutes over four games with the hawks this season scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds. At 34 years-old, it may be difficult for the veteran to crack another roster.
