Tim Tebow's brother apologizes for gloating tweet after Broncos loss
It took two days, but Peter Tebow, Tim Tebow's older brother, has apologized for his remarks Saturday, shortly after the Broncos lost to the Ravens in the AFC Divisional playoffs.
My comment after the game was uncalled for. I may root for another team but I should never gloat about anyone's misfortune. I'm truly sorry.

Nearly 48 hours earlier, Peter tweeted this:
Am I the only one in Denver who's happy right now?

And re-tweeted this:
"That's karma, Elway." -- wife, Tebow-lover

Like we said at the time, we can understand Peter's frustration; his brother helped the Broncos to the AFC Division title a year ago (albeit with an 8-8 record … but still) and a wild-card playoff win over the Steelers. Two months later, they signed Peyton Manning and dumped Tebow on the Jets.
We're not sure Peter needed to apologize but he has, and now we can all get back to truly important stuff -- like where his younger brother will play next year.
