49ers Anthony Davis calls Terrell Suggs 'loser' after radio slight

It's been 24 days since the Ravens outlasted the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. And while most of us are looking ahead to free agency and the draft, at least two players from the big game are still reveling in what was and reeling from what could've been.

Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs made a recent appearance on San Francisco radio station KNBR to promote "The Coalition," a movie he co-wrote. (If you're like us, you're no doubt intrigued by this. According to IMDB, it's a romantic comedy about "Four women who band together to get revenge on four young, successful players because the guys mistreated them in some way.")

Invariably, the conversation turned to the post-victory comments made by teammate Cary Williams, who called the 49ers "fake tough guys" and "pretenders."

Suggs was asked if San Francisco's offensive line had any "fake tough guys."

“They've got one fake tough guy,” he said, via the Baltimore Sun.

After praising left tackle Joe Staley and left guard Mike Iupati, Suggs referred to center Jonathan Goodwin as "pretty good," and called right guard Alex Boone "solid." Which left right tackle and 2010 first-round pick Anthony Davis.

Not surprisingly, the insinuation didn't sit well with the third-year player out of Rutgers (who, it turns out, was college teammates with Ray Rice). So naturally, Davis took to Twitter to voice his displeasure.

Davis then tweeted [sic'd]: "why they hatin' on a youngin. lmao he 30 yrs old Im on his mind? lol f------ loser…" before adding "f------ puppet."

Worth noting: Suggs had just two tackles in the Super Bowl. But he also has a ring, which provides some leeway when it comes to trash talk, even indirectly.
