Roosevelt Nix: Let go by Indy
Nix was released by the Colts on Monday.
Nix spent five seasons with the Steelers and played in 60 games (nine starts) before joining the Colts this offseason. He was primarily used as a blocker, as he accumulated just four yards and one touchdown on four carries to go along with 12 receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. However, he also contributed on special teams, as he recorded 34 tackles.The veteran is now set to look for a change of scenery, as the Colts are going in a different direction.

Colts' Roosevelt Nix: Joining Indy
Nix (knee) is expected to sign with the Colts on a one-year deal, Jordan Schultz of ESPN reports.
Though not necessarily an offensive presence, Nix is an exceptionally good blocker. The 28-year-old played five seasons as the Steelers' starting fullback, during which he earned one Pro Bowl nod. The veteran is also widely regarded as a special teams menace, compiling close to a dozen or more tackles each of the past three seasons. Nix could be a significant boost to the team's rushing attack, namely aiding incumbent running back Marlon Mack in obvious rushing scenarios. Nix missed all but three games in 2019 with a knee injury, but is reportedly on track for the start of the season.

Nix is recovering from a knee injury which caused him to spend all but three games of the 2019 season on injured reserve. The Steelers telegraphed NIx's release one day earlier, when they agreed to a three-year deal with another fullback in Derek Watt.
