| Torain released by Redskins: The Redskins released RB Ryan Torain on Tuesday. Washington had moved forward with rookies Roy Helu and Evan Royster after Tim Hightower got hurt earlier in the season. Torain became the go-to guy for a bit, but was overshadowed by the youth movement for coach Mike Shanahan. (Updated 12/27/2011) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Torain was not a good blocker and he looked slower in getting to the open hole than both Royster and Helu. The Redskins were happy with Hightower and if he remains on the team, that is all the RBs they'll need heading into next year. Torain clearly has no Fantasy value unless he finds himself somewhere else next year in a good situation. (Updated 12/27/2011). |
