Brady Henderson@BradyHenderson19M agoThe Seahawks' next pick -- third round/81 overall -- was acquired from the Broncos on Day 2 of last year's draft. That trade is worth revisiting with Day 2 of this year's draft underway. To recap: Seattle moved back from No. 83 overall to 107 and picked up No. 81 this year.

Brian Nemhauser@hawkblogger4H agoWhat it would realistically cost to get into the BACK of the 2nd round? SEA gives 3rd (81) + 4th (118) + 6th (179) SEA gets BUF 2nd (60) This nets out to a 1 point advantage to the Seahawks. Seattle needs the players at 81+118+179 more than 1 guy at 60.

Brian Nemhauser@hawkblogger5H agoOne move I could see Seattle make today would be if Junior Colson slides into the 3rd, the Seahawks may move up 5-10 spots to get him. 2nd round is too rich.

Brian Nemhauser@hawkblogger6H agoHere’s where I’m at: Any trade up into the 2nd round would be a significant mistake for the Seahawks. There are no players worth collapsing draft capital (present or future) to move up for, and the roster is not setup for one big move. Don’t panic. Be patient.

Field Gulls@FieldGulls7H agoIf the Seahawks really wanted to trade up for Penix then presumably they would've had to sacrifice a future 1st (especially since it was 8 spots)... and possibly DK Metcalf. Are you doing that trade?
