Brooks injured his knee in the first half of Sunday's game and was carted off the field with his right knee wrapped. It's unclear what the specifics of the injury are at this point. Jalen Mills figures to see extra snaps while Brooks is out.
Brooks (calf) is active for Sunday's Week 7 matchup with the Vikings.
Brooks started in place of an injured Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) last week and picked up a calf injury of his own, but it doesn't look to be a major issue after he was able to log a full practice Friday. However, with McKelvin active for the contest, Brooks could end up settling back into a bench role.
Brooks will receive a start at cornerback Sunday against the Redskins, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) is inactive for the contest, affording Brooks the opportunity to see extended snaps in Week 6. He's collected nine tackles and has recovered a fumble through his first four games of the season.
