| Williams played through injury: The St. Paul-Pioneer Press reports that Vikings DT Pat Williams, one half of the run-stuffing duo with Kevin Williams, was relatively quiet in 2010 with 30 tackles and one forced fumble while playing a little more than half the snaps. It was Williams' first season of six in Minnesota without a sack or at least 40 tackles. While Williams' age (38) probably played a factor in the decreased production, Williams recently shed more light on his painful triceps injury. He underwent surgery in January that will require about four months of rehab, Williams said, and though he can't remember when he suffered the torn muscle, he played through injury for the entire season. His push off the line clearly was affected. "I don't make no excuses," said Williams. "I wasn't out there talking about it. I just go out and play." Williams, a free agent who still wants to play for two more seasons, doesn't expect to return to Minnesota and says "there are other teams who want me." (Updated 02/14/2011) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Keep an eye on where Williams plays in 2010 and that he returns to health at 100 percent. He is a low-end Fantasy option in IDP leagues because he is more of a run stuffer than someone who records a hefty amount of stats. (Updated 02/14/2011). |
