The first two periods of Saturday's Rangers-Capitals game didn't give us much offense, which should have been expected.

It did, however, give us one of the prettiest plays of the playoffs to this point as Washington's Jason Chimera scored the game-tying goal with less than four seconds to play in the second period.

Chimera may have scored the goal on an odd-man rush, but the play was made by Brooks Laich with an absolutely perfect saucer pass across the ice. Not only did he perfectly float it across to his teammate, he put it right on his tape and hit Chimera right in stride.

Sometimes a pass can be more exciting than the goal itself. This is one of those times.
