Hayden sustained a lower-body injury during Saturday's contest against Edmonton and isn't likely to return.
Hayden recorded two shots in 4:14 of ice time before exiting the game. He entered Saturday's action with two goals in six outings this season. If Hayden isn't available Tuesday versus Dallas, then Daniel Sprong might draw back into the lineup after spending two straight contests as a healthy scratch.
