What better way to end the regular season than with a little Duel in the Desert? Arizona travels across the way to Tempe to face the Sun Devils of Arizona State on Saturday to put a cap on the regular season for both squads. Coming off a heart-breaking loss to UCLA a week ago, Sean Miller’s team has a chance to secure some momentum as it rolls into the postseason in a rivalry game against Arizona State -- a series recently dominated by the Wildcats.

Here’s how you can watch the game on television or streaming online, along with odds and a pick against the spread for the game.

Scouting report

Arizona’s roster is loaded from top to bottom with play-makers, none more impressive than 7-foot Finnish star Lauri Markkanen. Averaging 15.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, he has as polished a game as you’ll come across in a freshman. Markkanen can play with his back to the basket and he hits 3-pointers at the second-most efficient clip on the team.

Arizona State has a similarly efficient scorer in Torian Graham. The senior guard who averages 18.3 points has been wildly inconsistent of late, scoring 28 against UCLA then following it up with a four-point outing against Southern California. In the first Duel in the Desert this season, Graham scored 18 to lead the Sun Devils. He’s responsible for nearly 30 percent of the team’s shots, according to KenPom, so ASU needs him to be on his game if it wants a chance at an upset bid.

Matchups to watch

Bobby Hurley’s team had no answers for Markkanen in the first meeting. The 7-footer finished with 30 points, including four 3-pointers. Whether it has a smaller, more athletic wing on him or a bigger, slower forward, Arizona State might have trouble containing him once again.

Odds and pick

KenPom odds: Arizona -10

Pick: Arizona -10

The Wildcats have one final chance to impress the NCAA selection committee in the regular season after falling to UCLA last week. I think the Wildcats, who have recently dominated the series, take a decisive one over the Sun Devils.
