No. 1 seed Villanova did exactly what it was expected to do on Thursday afternoon and Friday, crushing St. John’s and surviving a tough test from Seton Hall to advance to the Big East title game. And just as our experts predicted, the Wildcats took care of business in the title game on Saturday with a 74-60 win over Creighton. Jay Wright likes his championship hardware, it seems, and now he’s got a Big East regular season and postseason crown to hang in the trophy case.
